Dear COS Community,
Do you know any DACA students? If so, please pass along information regarding the upcoming 2017 Immigration Conference at COS on Saturday, September 23. Especially relevant are the following three workshops:
Know Your College Options: AB540 and Dream Act Financial Aid
Know the Latest Immigration Policies, Including the Latest DACA News
Free Legal Consultations/DACA Renewals Assistance (In this workshop, students will have access to a BIA accredited legal representative to answer any case-specific questions and get help with their DACA renewals. This workshop will actually be running continuous starting at 10am.)
For faculty, please note that the first two workshops listed above are eligible for FLEX credit.
Moreover, approximately 13 organizations (such as the Fresno State Dream Center) are scheduled to participate in the resource fair.
